Hej! I’m Katrin, originally from Sweden but I’ve been based in Mallorca for the past six seasons working as a charter skipper and sailing instructor. I run both bareboat handovers and skippered charters, mainly out of Palma and Port Adriano.

I’m passionate about safety and seamanship — I’ve seen too many things go wrong on charter boats to not take it seriously. I’m also a bit of a gear nerd and love testing out new kit.

Looking forward to contributing here. This seems like a great community already!

Welcome Katrin! A Swede in Mallorca — there seem to be quite a few of us Scandinavians and Mediterranean types drawn to this island. What’s your go-to foul weather gear? I’m looking to replace my jacket before autumn.
